Alfredo studied piano at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatoire of Venice and at the Santa Cecilia Conservatoire of Rome; at the latter he obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees with top marks, laude and honourable mention under the guidance of Maestri Maura Pansini and Gennaro Pesce.
He also graduated with first class honours from the Faculty of Music at King’s College London and simultaneously attended the Advanced Performance Studies programme at the Royal Academy of Music.
Thanks to the support of the “Sir Antonio Pappano” scholarship, he is currently pursuing a PhD in Classical Piano Performance under the supervision of Prof. Ronan O’Hora, Alexander Soares and Amy Blier-Carruthers at the Guildhall School of Music in London. His research project has also been awarded the “Innovation and Knowledge” prize promoted by the association Il Circolo.
He has received prizes in several piano competitions (Dinu Lipatti; Osimo; Riccione; Albenga) and was awarded the Giovanni Abbadessa Prize among the conservatories of Lazio as the “best young pianist of the region.” He has been selected by the Keyboard Charitable Trust, for which he will perform at the Steinway Hall in London on October 14th 2026.
He has attended numerous masterclasses with distinguished musicians including Antonio Pappano, Vanessa Latarche, Marcella Crudeli, Leon McCawley, Angela Hewitt, Konstantin Bogino, Alberto Portugheis, Pierluigi Camicia, Pietro De Maria, Olga Zdorenko, and Imogen Cooper.
He has performed in numerous solo recitals in Italy, Romania, Austria, Monte Carlo, and the United Kingdom. Notable recent venues include La Casa delle Culture in Velletri, the Opera Theatre of the Casinò of Sanremo, The Ehrbar Saal in Vienna, the Giacomo Manzù Museum in Ardea, Milton Court Hall in London, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Club in Rome, the Théâtre des Muses in Monte Carlo, Casa Menotti in Spoleto, William Goodenough College in London, Teatro Tor Bella Monaca, St Pancras Church in London, the Italian Embassies in Bucharest and London, the Italian Cultural Institute in London, the Hungarian Cultural Institute in Rome (Liszt Hall), the National Liberal Club in London, the Ateneo Veneto in Venice, Palazzo Albrizzi in Venice, the Italian Navy Officers’ Clubs in Venice and Rome, the Auditorium of Foligno, the Teatro Comunale of Cividale del Friuli, and Teatro Miela in Trieste.
During the Bolzano Festival, in collaboration with the Mahler Academy, he took part in the world premiere performance of Georg F. Haas’s composition 11,000 Saiten. He also recorded the European premiere of the étude Calligraphy by the contemporary composer Toshio Hosokawa. He has also curated and organised the project Young Music Italy in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in London, where he performed in a series of concerts. He regularly performs for the Rotary Club, of which he is an active member, in concerts dedicated to charitable and humanitarian causes.
